Fatima, the only daughter of the Holy prophet of Islam, was born in Mecca on 20 Th. Jumadi al- thani 18 BH. The good and noble lady Khadijah and the apostle of Allah bestowed all their natural love, care and devotion on their lovable and only child Fatima, who in her turn was extremely fond of her parents.

The princess of the House of the Prophet was very intelligent, accomplished and cheerful. Her sermons, poems and sayings serve, as an index to her strength of character and nobility of mind.

After arriving in Medina, she was married to Ali, in the first year hijrah, and she gave birth to two sons and two daughters. Her children, Hasan, Hussein, Zeinab and umm kulthum are well — known for their piety, goodness and generosity.

Their strength of character and actions changed the course of history. The Prophet is the perfect example for men, but could not be so for women.

For all the verses revealed in the Holy Quran for women, Fatima is the perfect model, who translated every year into action. In her lifetime, she was a complete woman, being Daughter, wife and Mother at the some time.

Shahadat Bibi Fatima Zehra - Majlis 2021 - Allama Asif Raza Alvi

Fatima was very generous; and none who come to her door, when away empty handed. She never asked Ali for anything in her whole life. As a mother, she cared for and brought up wonderful children; they have lifted their marks on the face of the world, which time will not be able to erase.

The death of the Apostle, affected her very much and she was very sad and grief- stricken and wept her heart out crying all the time. Lady Fatima martyred in the prime of her life at the age of eighteen. Martyrdom of Fatima Zehra sa and the Last day of her life.

Martyrdom of Fatima Zehra sa The account of the last day of her life clearly shows what kind of a lady was this daughter of Holy Prophet Muhammad saw. Fatimah Zehra sa told the household that she was feeling better, the pain in her ribs and in her hand was not so severe and that her fever had come down. Then she started bathing the children, immediately Imam Ali as and Bibi Fizza ra came to her assistance. She got those children bathed, dressed and fed, then sent them away to her cousin.

Imam Ali as then asked her about the source of knowledge of this news the day of her departure. Fatima Zehra sa told him that she had seen the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad saw in her dream and he had told her that she was going to join him that night. She then asked Imam Ali as to execute her will. Please excuse my fussiness; they have suffered so much with me and during my illness that I want to see them happy on the last day of my life.

I am happy and also I am sad. Happy I am that my troubles will shortly be over and I shall meet my father and sorry I have to part with you. You are more knowing of Allah SWTmore devoted, more pious, more honorable and more fearing of Allah SWT than to give me a reason to reprimand you for disobeying me.

Hazrat Fatima A.S

Surely it is very painful for me to be separated from you and to lose you; but it is an inevitable destination. By Allah SWTyou have renewed the sorrow I have just encountered with the death of Messenger of Allah, Muhammad saw ; surely your death and departure will be a great calamity, but to Allah we belong, and to Him is our return.

What a painful, bitter and sad calamity. Surely this is a calamity for which there is no console and a disaster for which there is no compensation. I shall also put your matters over mine. The Prophet of Islam had only one daughter named Fatima.

Her mother Khadija had two other daughters from her two earlier marriages. When The Prophet married her, both daughters came with her mother to live in the house of the Prophet. Hazrat Fatima sa was born five years before Bethat when Muhammad S was about 35 years old and her mother Khadija was about 50 years old.

She has many other titles. The Date of her birth was 20th Jamad al Akhar. This was the hardest time for the family because in the same year Abu Talib who was the protector of Muhammad S from the animosity of the Quraish also died in the same year as Khadija. Muhammad S married Umme Salama, an old widow after the death of Khadija to have someone to look after the household chores.

It is I who should learn from her. It was then that she saw her revered father preaching Islam in the most hostile atmosphere. The hostility of the Quraish after the death of Abu Talib and Khadija was the strongest. Fatima saw and dressed the wounds sustained by her father due to the stones thrown on him by the non- believers who were ho to the preaching of Islam.

She might have heard and seen that certain wretched women hurled rubbish on her noble father.

But from all these things Fatima was neither frightened nor disheartened. She comforted her father, tended to his wounds even at that tender age. The entire family was blanketed with clouds of sorrowful gas a result of the almost daily humiliation and mockery to which her most revered father was subjected. He stayed in Makka for another 3 days to give back the deposits to the Makkans who entrusted these to the Prophet for safe keeping.

They were the most suitable couple to be married. After some persuasion from friends he finally went to see the Prophet in the mosque and proposed for marriage. Prophet told Fatima about it and asked her whether she would approve.

Marriage was solemnized by the Prophet himself and after marriage the couple went to live in a separate house next to the House of the Prophet around the Mosque. Hassan as was born in the 3rd year of Hijra, Husayn as was born in the 4th year of Hijra, Zainab was born in the 6th year of Hijra, Umme Kulthoom was born in the 7th year of Hijra.

It was in the same house that the famous Verse of Purification Surah Verse 33 was revealed on the Holy Prophet and its narration by Fatima has become so famous that it is read in every Muslim house as Hadith-e-Kisa.

The Reading of this Hadith brings blessings to the household. Tafseer-e- Kabir by Al-Razi. It was in the same house where this blessed family fasted for three days continuously without eating any food giving away their Iftari to a beggar, an orphan and a prisoner who arrived at their door and asked for food. The Verse in Surah Dahr revealed in praise of their extremely charitable act in the way of Allah. There was so much respect in the heart of the Holy Prophet for Fatima sa that whenever Fatima sa arrived in the mosque of the Prophet, the Holy Prophet stood up to respect her.

This gesture was also to show the companions respect for women generally which was lacking in the Arabian society of the day. These acts of the Prophet were to show the companions that this house and its occupants have a special place in the way of Allah and that this status should be maintained after the death of the Prophet. Unfortunately this was not done as the Holy Prophet intended his companions to do.

History tells us some very sad moments connected with this house. Her 5th unborn child died because of this harsh action of some of the companions and she herself died within 3 months of the death of her Holy father. The following lines of poetry show her ordeal after the death of her holy father very clearly. In terms of Ihsan. Her husband was Alithe last of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and the first Shia Imamand her children include Hasan and Husaynthe second and third Imams, respectively. Fatimah is a vital character in Islam [15] and her name is one of the most popular for girls throughout the Muslim world.

Fatimah is given many titles by Muslims to show their admiration of her moral and physical characteristics. The most used title is " al-Zahra ", meaning "the shining one", and she is commonly referred to as Fatimah Zahra. Moreover, there are many Shia narrations which have been stated from their Imams about the names and titles of Fatima.

Fatimah was born in Mecca to Khadija, the first of Muhammad's wives. There are differences of opinion on the exact date of her birth, but the widely accepted view is that she was born five years before the first Quranic revelations[14] during the time of the rebuilding of the Kaaba in[1] [2] [3] although this does imply she was over 18 at the time of her marriage, which was unusual in Arabia.

She also had three brothers named Qasim ibn MuhammadAbd-Allah ibn Muhammadand Ibrahim ibn Muhammadall of whom died in childhood. While Sunnis believe Zainab, Ruqayyah, and Umm Kulthum to be the other daughters of Muhammad, Shias believe that they were actually the daughters of Hala, the sister of Khadijah, who were adopted by Muhammad and Khadijah at her death.

A reason given by the Shia scholars for this belief is the hadith on the event of Mubahalah referenced to in the Quranin which there is no reference to the presence of any other female apart from Fatimah. Following the birth of Fatimah, she was nursed by her mother and brought up by her father; [28] contrary to local customs where the newborns were sent to " wet nurses " in the surrounding villages.

Fatimah, upon hearing the news, rushed to her father and wiped away the filth while scolding the men. At the death of her mother, Fatimah was overcome by sorrow and found it very difficult to cope with it. To console her, her father informed her about having received word from the angel Jibril that God had built for her a palace in paradise.

Muhammad turned them all down, saying that he was awaiting a sign of her destiny. When he went to see Muhammad, he could not vocalise his intention but remained silent. Muhammad understood the reason for his being there and prompted Ali to confirm that he had come to seek Fatimah in marriage. He suggested that Ali had a shield, which if sold, would provide sufficient money to pay the bridal gift mahr.

Muhammad took this to be a sign of affirmation and consent. The actual date of the marriage is unclear, but it most likely took place inthe second year of the hijraalthough some sources say it was in The age of Fatimah is reported to have been 9 or 19 due to differences of opinion on the exact date of her birth i. Although polygamy is permitted by Islam, Ali did not marry any other woman while Fatimah was alive.

After her marriage to Ali, the couple led a humble life in contrast to her sisters who were all married to wealthy individuals. However, due to Fatimah's desire to be closer to her father, a Medinan Haritha bin al-Numan donated his own house to them. For several years after her marriage, she did all of the work by herself. The shoulder on which she carried pitchers of water from the well was swollen and the hand with which she worked the handmill to grind corn were often covered with blisters.

When the economic situations of the Muslims become better, Fatimah gained some maids but treated them like her family and performed the house duties with them. Another reference to their simple life comes from the Tasbih of Fatimaha divine formula that was first given to Fatimah when she asked her father for a kaneez slave girl in order to help her with household chores.

Her father asked her if she would like a gift instead that was better than a servant and worth more than everything in the world. This collective prayer is called the Tasbih of Fatima. Fatimah is believed to have had a happy marital life. However, there are claims that Ali angered her when he allegedly asked for Abu Jahl's daughter's hand in marriage. Human beings have received and will receive perfection through us.

The perpetual supremacy and inherent superiority do no prevent us from making contact with human beings or with your clan, and we have married amongst you and have established family connections with your clan, though you do not belong to our class. To some it may be unclear as to whether Fatima Zehra sa was oppressed and hurt after the demise of her Father, Holy Prophet Muhammad saw.

The answer to this question can be clearly and completely found in the Sunni and Shia authentic history books that have recorded the events after the demise of Holy Prophet Muhammad saw. These books clearly state that Fatima Zehra sa had continuously complained about the tyranny of the ruler and his government in her short life time after Prophet Muhammad's saw demise. For example, when Fatimah Zehra sa heard the forged narration from the first Caliph, she became very angry.

Hutu and tutsi physical differences

She knew that this forged narration, which even contradicted the verses of the Noble Qur'an was only said to prevent her from receiving her right. As Prophet Muhammad's saw body was being buried, so were his words about Imam Ali's as role and leadership in governing the Islamic Society.

But for those who accepted the leadership and Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad sawit is expected that they accept the leadership of Imam Ali as. Fatima Zehra sa would see that both Prophet Muhammad saw and his words have passed away. She saw that his message was being stepped on by a stampede of new thoughts and ideas. She felt that she needed to do something against this flood; otherwise everything would be forgotten, forever! It was here that with firm faith she entered Masjid an-Nabi or Prophet Muhammad's Mosque in Medina and said to those who had submitted to the new power and had rejected Prophet Muhammad's saw orders, "We will stand firm and patient against you like a person whose body has been torn to pieces by spears and knives At this point a question may occur to the mind: can the speech of Fatima Zehra sa be an implication and reaction of her being hurt and angry at the oppression of the first Caliph and his helpers?

This implication can also be inferred by the famous saying of Prophet Muhammad saw who has said: "The satisfaction and anger of Fatima causes the satisfaction and anger of Allah SWT. That sermon had their impact as they thundered down upon the first Caliph and his followers. With her speech Fatima Zehra sa changed the view of the people towards the tyranny.

However, after she delivered the sermon in Masjid an-Nabi or Prophet Muhammad's Mosque in Medina, a series of sorrowful events took place, which all caused Fatima Zehra sa to remain in bed? In the last days of her life when Umm Salamah sa asked her about her overall situation, she explicitly announced, "I am grieving the loss of the Messenger of Allah, and I am saddened by the usurping of his successor's right.

She told them, "By Allah I began my day while I am disgustful of your actions in this world and angry of your husbands. Woe onto you. Why did they reject this divine position the succession of the Messenger of Allahas defined by Prophet Muhammad saw? And why did they usurp the right of the one who was more beneficial and aware of their worldly and hereafter affairs?Retrieved May 5, 2008.

I definitely plan on returning to Iceland for a longer duration and during a different time of the year, I would love to see more of the country. I totally loved the idea of the self drive tour. It was my first self drive tour, and i would like to explore as many places this manner. I hope to do Scotland and Norway with you soon.

We had a wonderful ten days touring every passable road in the West and South of Iceland. We saw fantastic Northern lights. Met some amazing people. I just wish all the street and towns had twenty less letters. Aevar did an excellent job helping us when we had a problem with our rental car. Very helpful and efficient. Thank you, again Aevar. We were absolutely delighted with our visit to Iceland and were so glad we were able to circle the entire country.

I'll admit to having tears in my eyes as we left Reyjavik. We have recommended Nordic Visitor to our friends and fellow travelers we met along the way. Keep up the good work. Overall we were very pleased with the quality of the accommodations. The itinerary that was built for our trip was very well planned leaving enough time to explore the areas we were travelling as well as having sufficient time to find our nightly accommodations.

For the most part we ate in restaurants located in the local areas as opposed to the hotels as some of the menus were very restrictive in selection. Breakfasts provided at the accommodations were fresh and lots of variety. Visited local museums but did not book any extra activities (whale watching, guided tours) as we prefer to explore on our own.

We had an amazing trip. It was so well curated. All of the destinations were thoughtful both in terms of location and distance traveled during the day.

The sightseeing suggestions in the tour guide were excellent. The hotels and guest houses were all wonderful - comfortable and full of character. To put together a trip like this on our own would have required weeks of online research and we never would have been able to achieve something this perfect.

Thank you so much for a great trip. My only question is: Why is there not an "Excellent" option. Our holiday was most excellent in every way. From my first email enquiry regarding the tour to the last minute of our holiday every aspect was excellent.

Cecilia made the whole planning experience smooth and seamless, and the tour itself was most excellent. What an incredible job Nordic Visitor does.

We felt so spoilt because everything had been done for us. This was an incredible tour and I can't speak highly enough about the slick operation Nordic Visitor runs.
